Daniel's dream is simple - put BASIC amenities in each house in this small community: water and sewerage for a start.

Then get the kids URGENTLY needed dental treatment.

Very simple, very do-able, and very inexpensive. US$600 will put water and sewerage in a house, pretty amazing. These are not high-tech solutions, but they work.

Choosing either the Dental Package or the Construction Package will provide US$20 towards these projects.

Project Palhaco is NOT a welfare program that will create dependency. In each family one parent is working, but they earn the minimum wage [US$200] a month. It's a struggle just to cover food with that. OK, OK - too many kids per family. Stupid, stupid - I know! But you can't put 'em back, and it's not the kids' fault. Half these parents started their families at 12 years of age, and are illiterate or semi-literate. So, forget the blame, let's move on and rescue THIS generation.

A special LOGBOOK at both the Dentist and Hardware Supplier, publicly available, lists child/treatment/cost or product/cost/date - these pages will be put up on the site.
