Create your day in advance by thinking the way you want it to go.

I'm a little late with this blog, but our traffic is still dismal so I might get away with it. I had a chance to use a computer for several days, and I took it to develop the site a bit more.

From this point, I will focus on traffic. Daniel can work on the tours.

I'm after an English teacher. I'm desperate for an English teacher. Our little trickle of tourists will soon become a regular three-day-a-week income. And this is the ONLY area where the community depends on us... our sacred goal is to avoid dependence at all costs, so we need English functioning here like yesterday.

I get invited to a ninth birthday party, because the aunt's first cousin has a niece related to someone who knows someone else who used to be an English teacher and is now retired. Maybe she is exactly what I want.

I have no fotos of the party as it is my first meeting with these people, and it would be too intrusive. There are almost 100 kids here, and one of the games is a treasure hunt - where the dad hid the treasure in the yard of the police station next door. Haha. It was unbelievably moronic of him, and unbelievably funny watching the confusion unfold.

The party was held in the street, of course, and I was reminded I was in Brazil when they ordered extra soft drinks from the local supermarket... and it was delivered by horse-and-cart.

... and the retiree didn't turn up anyway....
