Clowning around.
29 January 2008So far we have, in just two months, started each of our little projects.
Started.
We have managed to build the first dozen steps, get two kids to the dentist, start the first bathroom, put some food on the table in emergencies, plant a single tree. In six months I would love to write... "We have finished."
Daniel, Daniel and Daniel - which covers the three of us in my family - yeh, go on: TripleD haha... well, we lead a life just one step ahead of the community. Anyone reading between the lines in the blog would realise real fast we are as poor as churchmice. No big deal, I love my boys and our time will come. But it is damn frustrating that we are slowed down by poverty.
Enter the Clown Club.

Next week I will add dozens of fotos to our gallery. Today, below is Joao bathing in a communal bucket. Apart from a lack of privacy, it's uncomfortable and VERY unhygienic. Since we have deleted scabies, cockroaches and nits in the past few months, we want to continue and see a SHOWER here - complete with running hot water. And in all the other homes as well.
