Every ending is a beginning.

One more year has slipped through my fingers...

The last week has been full of 25 hour days, and so I have let a few things slip by me.

Free Willy, it was your generous gift which allowed the last of the cows to land at the BBQ. There was a bit left over, and this I used to print the first name tags, and to book Flavio into the dentist. Fotos of Flavio and Monstrinho at the dentist are on their way...

I am learning more every day, didn't know being alive was such hard work.

Why did I get Lucas's dad to make name tags instead of just paying the fares to the hospital?

It's obvious if you think about it. Firstly, there's a thing called pride. We stay very far away from charity in our Project. Secondly, we stay even further away from creating any kind of dependency. We are simply opening a door for these people to help themselves.

I have a commitment with the boys that every year on New Year's Eve, wherever we may be around the world, we will come together and share that moment.

This year it is - hohum - Copacabana Beach again. It's one of the largest parties in the world, and is extraordinary because of its total lack of violence in spite of there being up to three million well lubricated people squashed onto a few kilometres of sand.

It was a magical night, I had no camera to record it but last year I filmed Daniel and BF same time, same place. That film can be seen HERE. It is very beautiful, and catches Daniel's heart to perfection.
