Are you measured by what you own? or by what you do?

22 December 2007

Do you work work work to make money to buy things to impress other people?

Sad, huh.

And after a few months, that Ipod is out of date, and now you need a high-definition monitor - or else people will stop liking you, right?

I am NOT criticising possessions. Go right ahead. Each of us has our own path to happiness.

Where is your current path taking you?

Today, I don't want to get into this, but I can say one thing: never imagine you can buy love. You can buy the 'presence' of another person, keep him/her/it right there beside you... but if your check bounces?

I have this fantasy that it's better to show someone you love them, than to show them the receipt for their latest gift.
